Navajo tapestry woven using an old technique with modern experimentation and design. The vertical bars were commonly used on saddle blankets in the past. The pure white weft creates the illusion of paint brush stokes across the design field based on my Expanded Rainbow Aesthetic. Woven with over 250 colors of wool yarn dyed with both natural and synthetic compounds. Wool warp, wool/mohair weft.
