Hopi Symbols

Natural Pigment Painting Natural earth pigments have been gathered from Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico. A binder has been mixed with the natural pigments so pigments are permanent and have a strong bond to the canvas. The painting titled Hopi Symbols tells a story of symbolic markings in Hopi life. Tracks, cycles, growth, beginnings, and migration, can be seen and valued as aspects of life. We as humans have no control over natural powers that be, any one of us is susceptible to devastation and destruction. Thus, we must be respectful and humble in this world that we live in. 12.00"H x 16.00"W x 1.50"D
