ash wood, with sweet grass trim; see additional view, (click arrow on the right) that shows how the periwinkle pattern wraps around the basket and the base. The periwinkle represents a traditional subsistence food of the Wabanaki people in Maine. Basket is 5" wide x 1.5" deep.
