Zuni Polychrome jars commencing about 1880 or perhaps earlier has been a matter of fascination for Pueblo Indians for at least 10 centuries. The mid body band is composed of hachure lines (rain) that continues and connected all the way around together with a line of brown triangles from which brown keys (lighting) interlock with hachure clouds. The neck on this jar contains double life line with yellow ochre & hematite brown vegetal pigment in the form of interlocking spirals. Signed on bottom: Paloma 2/2023, Zuni, N.M.
