Small Periwinkle Snail

Basket is woven of ash wood with sweetgrass trim. This delightful periwinkle snail design wraps around the side of the basket. The design on the base of the basket is identical to the top. The 100+ yr old traditional design is a nod to the subsistence food of the Wabanaki people of Maine.
