Sunflowers and Rock Post

These sunflowers and rock post depict an area in the Midwest where this is a common sight. Ranchers used what the land provided in some areas to use these layered rocks for posts for barb wire to keep cattle from roaming. I had fun painting this picture using a palette knife as it provided the texture I wanted with my oils.
