When my grandpa would go on his selling trips to Navajo Nation, he would at times trade with Navajo rug weavers. This painting reminds me of that past-time. A fond memory of my dear grandpa is brought to life in this artistic depiction of remembrance of his adventures he encountered during his selling trips to the Navajo Nation. This painting also shows the continuation of balance and peace, which is depicted with symbolic imagery of the spiral design and pottery spirit lines.
