Yellow Roses

Deep yellow roses with dark purple foliage from the Artist's garden; the complementary colours intensify the luminosity of the roses. The painting process was speeded up by the changes in light and the warmth of the day unfurling the petals. This can be paired with 'Winter Irises' by the same artist.
