Fifth Rider Of the Apocalypse: A continuation of Brianʼs steampunk series, the piece is made from steel, brass, zinc and slumped glass. Patinas react differently with each type of metal giving a subtle variation of color. Slumped glass behind the face gives a purposeful and menacing expression. Careful study of steam engines allowed the artist to give the impression of functionality to the motorcycle while blending in elements of a modern v-twin sportster.

The other four riders of the apocalypse represent death, conquest, famine and war. The fifth rider? Hope.
