This is the third in a series of metal and glass butterflies. The piece has a stressed metal finish on the base and a smooth finish on the body and wings. It is covered in black oxide patina with a semi gloss protective coating. Using beautiful red iridescent and white iridescent glass, this butterfly changes color depending on the available light and viewing angle.
