This is the second in a series of metal and glass butterflies. The piece has a stressed metal finish covered in black oxide patina with a semi gloss protective coating. Using a medium green aventurine glass, this butterfly has a metallic green appearance that is beautiful in any light, and stunning when viewed in direct sun. It’s impossible to do this glass justice in pictures.
